Support, advice, access to knowledge and mentoring are the key elements identified as required by start-ups and growing companies.
Starting and successfully growing a business is a dream for many people. It can be a long and lonely road to success or perhaps - failure. It doesn't have to be that way; being part of a supportive entrepreneurial community is one of the keys to ensure the success of your venture.
We should all be only too willing to help at a time of drought. We would hope that with the wealth of talent within our community and elsewhere, we could help our fellow colleagues raise funds, source advice & make connections for their latest "adventure". If so, this is the place to discuss it, swap hints and tips, provide online mentoring and maybe find those elusive funds. It is not a place to advertise your services, but rather Pay It Forward for the help that you may have received in the past, within these walls.
3Cs is an active community, where advice and critique comes free-of-charge for the budding entrepreneur.
- Help create a business Environment that is supportive to the goals of your organisation and your customers
- Find others who can help you get your company off the ground including investors incubators, mentors and advisors
- Benefit from the knowledge exchange between our members so that being a member means your company gets ahead of the competition
Within the main 3Cs Community™ there are 3 sub communities:
C1 - Connections
- A group of advisors dedicated to sourcing / filtering opportunities for the wider community.
- When someone has, or comes across an idea these advisors review new business plan executive summaries put forward by members
- Selects potential projects for moving to a C2 community
C2 - Commitment
- A closed sub-community to maintain confidentiality, consisting of an entrepreneur and their selected advisors.
- Preparation of investor-ready business plan for presenting to C3 sub-community.
- Obliged to pay 3Cs modest success-based fees for exposure through the 3Cs Community™ model.
C3 - Capital
- Potential Investors
- A closed, hidden group of potential sources of funding, both individual and corporate (some of whom are external to 3Cs Community™).
- Sponsors of the 3Cs Community™
- Obliged to pay introduction fee to the 3Cs Community™ for successful investment completions from the 3Cs Process™.
- (Other sources of funding are always available and the 3Cs Process™ does not seek to exclusively source funding for the entrepreneur).
In total, this group of sub-communities represents the route known as the 3Cs Process™, designed to enhance the investor-readiness of a business proposition. The whole community of some hundreds of members, spread across the world, is available to assist the entrepreneur take their dream to fruition. Several business ideas have already benefited from the 3Cs Process™, having gained help and assistance in starting up and attracting funding.
