What are your fees?
I am a limited company not a plc. Can I offer my shares on the FiSMA website?
I understand that if I issue a prospectus I only have a 40 day period to raise the minimum amount. I am intending to issue a private placing memorandum and not a prospectus. Will the private placing memorandum be subject to the 40 day rule?
What is the lowest limit and the highest limit of capital you can raise through FiSMA?
Do you help companies trade their shares?
What is FiSMA's regulatory status?
I can see that FiSMA's or any other person who is not an FSA authorised person is covered by being an exempt person, but if a solicitor or accountant places a financial promotion on your site, are they not causing the issue of a financial promotion? What's your view on this?
What about confidentiality? If I put up information about my business it will be seen by all FiSMA self certified investors. This could be commercially damaging.
As a self-certified investor can I hold both a High Net Worth and Sophisticated Investor certificate simultaneously?
Can I use a FiSMA generated High Net Worth or Sophisticated Investor Certificate for other investment opportunities outside FiSMA?
As a registered Adviser with FiSMA why do I require to self certify as a Sophisticated Investor?
What statements, if any, do I need to include in my business plan concerning assumptions about its readers (sophisticated investors etc)? Likewise re: statements concerning the plan's offer to readers to invest? The document doesn't directly address the reader as a potential investor, but clearly highlights the finance the planned idea would require and the purposes to which that money would be put. I know I'm not allowed to offer shares to the public, but how do I ensure my plan isn't interpreted as such, and what is the extent of my responsibilities in this regard? Many thanks CD
